Designing a new brand identity for wissner-bosserhoff

In 2025, we helped wissner-bosserhoff to develop an all-new visual identity. The nursing bed manufacturer, based in Wickede (Ruhr) in west Germany, has put the people who live and work in care homes right at the heart of its brand communications. That new approach can be seen in the redesigned product catalogue and logo and a clear, trustworthy brand identity.

The catalogue, titled Focus on Care, consciously centres the perspectives of nurses and care home residents. On the cover is a nurse from the Netherlands, who has been photographed during a normal day at work. Other portraits from the same care home create a visual world that exudes warmth, closeness and a sense of lived reality. Our design principle aimed at capturing that reality rather than idealising it. We wanted to show people in all their dignity, strength and humanity.

Both the content and visual design of the extensive catalogue were completely reworked. A clear information hierarchy and streamlined visual language help readers navigate more easily. The goal was to not just present the products but also add genuine value – with relevant, clearly structured, in-depth content geared towards care professionals’ actual needs and decision-making processes.

A new trade fair stand was also designed on this same basis: large-format images, ample use of space and a clear brand message communicate the new positioning in a confident, compelling way.

wissner-bosserhoff has extensive, deep-seated expertise in the nursing and care sector. We have now also brought that expertise to the fore in the brand’s visual identity – one that is professional, trustworthy and faithful to the everyday reality of care homes. As part of the LINET Group, wissner-bosserhoff is embedded in the international market – yet its expertise and values are still firmly rooted in Wickede.
